How does it work?

  • Comprehensive Database

We maintain an extensive database of scientists, including their expertise, publications, and research interests.

    1

  • Input Details

Submit your 50-word project proposal, select scientist count, and choose accuracy level: Default, Flexible, Moderate, or Strict.

    2

  • Advanced Matching

Our platform uses the BART-large model to generate context-based results, integrating BERT and GPT architectures for better understanding.

    3

  • Project Profile Generation

The project proposal is processed to create a sample project profile vector, which represents the context and key aspects of the proposal.

    4

  • Recommendation Process

Our platform identifies suitable scientists by constructing a collaboration network, detecting communities, and calculating match scores for impactful collaborations.

FAQ

Q1: What is the purpose of this platform?

Our platform is designed to connect researchers with the most suitable research opportunities by leveraging AI to match scientists based on their expertise, interests, and past work.

Q2: Who can use this platform?

The platform is intended for use by research institutions, organisations, and individual scientists looking to find or offer research opportunities.

Q1: How do I submit a project proposal?

You can submit a project proposal by filling out the text area with a minimum of 50 words. You will also need to select the number of scientists you want to be displayed in the results and choose the desired accuracy level.

Q2: What accuracy levels can I choose from?

You can choose from four accuracy levels: Flexible, Default, Moderate, and Strict. The Flexible option is fast but less accurate, the Default option balances speed and accuracy, the Moderate option is slower with better accuracy, and the Strict option is very slow but provides the highest accuracy.

Q3: How does the platform match scientists with research projects?

Our platform uses advanced natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms to analyse the context of your proposal and match it with the most suitable scientists based on their expertise, past work, and research interests.

Q1: What models does the platform use for natural language processing?

We use the BART-large model, an open-source model developed by Facebook AI. This model is trained on the Multi-Genre Natural Language Inference (MNLI) dataset and integrates BERT and GPT architectures to better understand the context of the proposals.

Q2: How is the match score calculated?

The match score is calculated by comparing the project profile with scientists’ profiles using pairwise cosine similarity. This ensures that the recommendations are based on the most relevant and contextually accurate matches.

Q1: How is my data protected?

We take data privacy and security very seriously. All user data is stored securely and is only used for the purposes of matching scientists with research projects. We do not share your data with any third parties without your explicit consent.

Q1: What should I do if I encounter a problem with the platform?

If you encounter any issues or have any questions, please contact our support team at [support@ibric.in] or visit our Contact page for more information.

Q2: How can I provide feedback or suggestions?

We value your feedback and suggestions. Please send your thoughts to [feedback@ibric.in] or use the feedback form available on our website.
